Worth, Cost, and Calling: Financial Clarity for Spiritual Directors (session 3: Accessibility without apology)
(Session 3 of 3) How do you offer sliding scales, scholarships, or reduced-fee spots without resenting them? How do you say no to a client who can’t pay, and still act with compassion? This session tackles the practical and spiritual tensions of financial accessibility for a small business. You’ll explore models (community-funded spots, income-based sliding scales, barter) and leave with rituals for fee conversations, decision-making frameworks, and language to hold both your worth and your generosity.
This three-session virtual workshop series helps spiritual directors and other fee-based care providers align their fees with their values. Participants uncover their own money stories, calculate the true costs of their practice, and explore the reality of what financial accessibility might mean, without apology. Participants will leave the course with practical tools and the language to hold both worth and generosity with spiritual integrity. Led by Rev. Sara Green and Rachel Maxwell, and hosted by Rev. Tandi Rogers.
