Spiritual Direction Philosophy

Spiritual Direction is the ancient practice of time set apart with a compassionate and skilled companion to explore our spiritual lives. Mary holds space for clients through deep listening, curious questions, compassionate reflection, and the gentle suggestion of particular spiritual ideas and practices supportive of the client’s own evolving spiritual journey. Mary’s own spirituality is grounded in the sacred inter-connectedness of all being, and in embodied spiritual practices such as deep breathing, seated and walking meditation, and reflective writing. She is available for one-on-one companioning or group facilitation, in-person or remotely.
