Spiritual Direction Philosophy

Note: At this time I am only accepting clients who are spiritual leaders or who are in formation to become spiritual leaders. I specialize in working with Unitarian Universalist ministers. If you are a spiritual leader or a spiritual leader in training, please read on.

If you are interested in self-exploration and spiritual growth, are struggling with confusing or painful feelings, or are wanting to live with more aliveness, authenticity, compassion, creativity, and joy, please contact me at sarahmsalazar@gmail.com.

I believe that people’s capacity for love, growth, connection, and joy expands when they feel safe enough to be their whole and real selves. To that end, I provide active listening, conversation, guided meditation, and silence to support people in compassionately exploring their authentic being, their highest values, and their deepest truths. Working together, we can explore that which supports, and that which disrupts, your connection to your own deep wisdom and to the sacred that dwells within and beyond you.
